What challenges should be at the center of the justice roadmap in the Americas? What transformations do our justice systems need today? What role can CEJA play in addressing these challenges?
With these questions as a starting point, the CEJA/JSCA is developing its 2027–2030 Strategic Plan and launching a regional consultation to gather perspectives from diverse stakeholders across the region.
The invitation is open to everyone interested in contributing to this process, from justice-sector experts and professionals to people who have experienced or navigated a justice process. We particularly invite members of Judiciaries, Ministries of Justice, Public Prosecutors’ Offices, Public Defenders’ Offices, prison systems, police institutions, civil society organizations, universities and academic institutions, legal practitioners, and anyone who wishes to contribute their views. Justice is for everyone. A Strategic Plan that listens to people.
A Strategic Plan that listens to the region
The 2027–2030 Strategic Plan will be the main instrument guiding CEJA’s work in the coming years. Based on an understanding of the needs and challenges facing justice systems across the Americas, it will define the Center’s mission, vision, priority areas, lines of action, and expected results and impact.
The development of the new Strategic Plan begins with this participatory process, which will bring together diverse experiences, perspectives, and proposals on the present and future of justice in the Americas.
How can you participate?
The Virtual Consultation is open to everyone who wishes to contribute to the development of CEJA’s Strategic Plan. It is a space designed to gather diverse perspectives on the needs and priorities of justice systems across the region.
