Today, at the Justice Studies Center of the Americas (JSCA), we bid a heartfelt farewell to Sandra Araneda Jofré, who has been a cornerstone of our institution for 25 years — first as a secretary and later as an essential part of our event coordination efforts.

Throughout her career, Sandra stood out for her dedication, professionalism, and warmth, leaving an indelible mark wherever she worked.

A Chilean bilingual executive secretary, Sandra holds a diploma in Web Technology and Content Management Systems from the University of Chile. She also specialized in web development, internet applications, HTML, and graphic design.

Before joining JSCA, Sandra worked at the University of Santiago, Chile, from 1990 to 2002, serving as a Director’s Secretary in key strategic areas: Communications, USACH Radio, the Office of the Provost, Campus Administration, and the Finance Department.

In 2017, she took on the role of Event Coordinator at JSCA, contributing with excellence to every workshop, meeting, and institutional event.

As a token of appreciation, we presented Sandra with a symbolic gift in recognition of her years of dedication, commitment, and professional excellence.

We wish Sandra all the best in this new professional chapter. Her legacy and example will remain an enduring part of JSCA’s institutional history.
