Natalie Reyes, Director of International Justice Initiatives at the Center for Justice Innovation, visited the headquarters of the Justice Studies Center of the Americas (CEJA), where she met with the CEJA team to explore areas of joint collaboration.

During the meeting, Natalie Reyes shared the work of the Center for Justice Innovation—a nonprofit based in the United States that promotes equitable and effective approaches to justice administration—and highlighted training initiatives involving both judges and communities in justice system transformation.

For her part, CEJA Executive Director Nataly Ponce emphasized how lessons learned in the U.S. provide innovative input for improving judicial office management in Latin American contexts. She also presented CEJA’s programs and courses aimed at improving justice systems across the Americas, focusing on themes aligned with the region’s most pressing needs.

It is worth noting that Natalie Reyes previously interned and conducted research at CEJA, making her visit and reunion with the team a return to her professional home. She was welcomed by Lorena Espinoza, Director of Studies and Training, and researchers Yasna Rodríguez, Camille Vásquez, Javiera Domange, Naïs Pavard, along with Executive Director Nataly Ponce.

The meeting concluded with a shared agreement to promote collaborative spaces.
