The President of Peru’s Constitutional Court (TC), Luz Pacheco Zerga, met with representatives from the Justice Studies Center of the Americas (CEJA). Participants included Bruno Novoa, President of CEJA’s Board of Directors, and Nataly Ponce, Executive Director of the institution.

The meeting addressed the issue of case backlog at the Constitutional Court, with more than 7,000 pending cases and approximately 6,000 new cases submitted each year. CEJA representatives shared the organization’s experience in management models and best practices to streamline case processing in judicial institutions.

Both parties discussed the possibility of future collaborations to support efforts in reducing the Court’s case backlog.
