Board of directors

CEJA is comprised of a Governing Council and an Executive Directorate. The Governing Council consists of seven members elected in their personal capacity by the OAS General Assembly from among candidates nominated by the member states. Gender parity will be sought in this election.
The Board of Directors appoints the Executive Director, who is responsible for managing the Center. The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the Executive Director's management, approving annual work plans, the annual budget, annual reports, and the achievement of objectives and goals, among other functions established in the organization's bylaws.
