technical and institutional capacities of Ecuador\u2019s justice system and includes the participation of the following institutions: the National Court of Justice, the Office of the Comptroller General of the State, the Council of the Judiciary, the Office of the Attorney General, and the Public Defender\u2019s Office. The program will address key challenges such as court congestion, judicial independence, integrity, and transparency in the administration of justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program will be implemented in two complementary phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Virtual phase (October 28, 29, and 30):<\/strong> introductory sessions on judicial independence and integrity, transparency, and judicial management. <em>(Closed to the public.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In-person phase (November 10, 11, and 12, in Quito, Ecuador):<\/strong> intensive modules on judicial independence, integrity, governance, management, and transparency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The faculty team is composed of distinguished regional specialists:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Rafael Le\u00f3n Hern\u00e1ndez (Costa Rica):<\/strong> expert in judicial integrity and independence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ingrid Berm\u00fadez Vindas (Costa Rica):<\/strong> expert in transparency and open justice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cristi\u00e1n Hern\u00e1ndez (Chile):<\/strong> international expert in judicial management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nataly Ponce (Peru):<\/strong> Executive Director of CEJA and expert in judicial governance and access to justice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative is part of CEJA\u2019s ongoing commitment to strengthening sound judicial governance in Latin America, promoting accountability and advancing toward more transparent, independent, and efficient judicial
