{"id":15847,"date":"2025-06-06T14:38:52","date_gmt":"2025-06-06T17:38:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cejamericas.org\/?p=15847"},"modified":"2025-12-05T11:46:23","modified_gmt":"2025-12-05T11:46:23","slug":"aiamp-and-ceja-sign-memorandum-of-understanding-to-strengthen-public-prosecutors-offices-in-latin-america","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cejamericas.org\/en\/2025\/06\/06\/aiamp-and-ceja-sign-memorandum-of-understanding-to-strengthen-public-prosecutors-offices-in-latin-america\/","title":{"rendered":"AIAMP and CEJA Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Public Prosecutor\u2019s Offices in Latin America\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In a key step toward more effective cooperation in the fight against organized crime and the improvement of fiscal management in Ibero-America, the Ibero-American Association of Public Prosecutors (AIAMP)\u2014which brings together 22 Public Prosecutor\u2019s Offices from across the region\u2014and the Justice Studies Center of the Americas (CEJA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a strategic alliance aimed at strengthening the work of Public Prosecutor\u2019s Offices throughout Latin America.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15849\" src=\"https:\/\/cejamericas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-06-05-at-15.42.18-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1015\" height=\"655\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The agreement was signed by Eduardo Ezequiel Casal, President of AIAMP and Attorney General of the Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office of Argentina, and Nataly Ponce Chauca, Executive Director of CEJA, during the 32nd Ordinary General Assembly of AIAMP, held in Madrid, Spain.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Memorandum establishes a framework for collaboration between both institutions to enhance criminal prosecution systems across the Americas.
