CEJA was represented by <strong data-start=\"3857\" data-end=\"3872\">Bruno Novoa<\/strong>, Chair of the Board of Directors, and <strong data-start=\"3911\" data-end=\"3927\">Nataly Ponce<\/strong>, Executive Director.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3950\" data-end=\"4256\">CIM expressed interest in initiating collaboration through a specific and high-impact focus. Both institutions agreed to prioritize work on the <strong data-start=\"4094\" data-end=\"4136\">situation of women deprived of liberty<\/strong> in Latin America, including analysis of trends such as the expansion of mega-prisons and their gender-specific impacts.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4258\" data-end=\"4297\">The following actions were agreed upon:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"4298\" data-end=\"4596\">\n<li data-start=\"4298\" data-end=\"4385\">\n<p data-start=\"4300\" data-end=\"4385\">CEJA will draft a <strong data-start=\"4318\" data-end=\"4334\">Concept Note<\/strong> for a regional study on women deprived of liberty.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4386\" data-end=\"4478\">\n<p data-start=\"4388\" data-end=\"4478\">A <strong data-start=\"4390\" data-end=\"4412\">diagnostic mapping<\/strong> of the prison situation of women in the region will be developed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4479\" data-end=\"4596\">\n<p data-start=\"4481\" data-end=\"4596\">A <strong data-start=\"4483\" data-end=\"4504\">technical meeting<\/strong> will be organized to present the capabilities of CEJACampus and explore training synergies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4598\" data-end=\"4840\">This meeting is aligned with <strong data-start=\"4627\" data-end=\"4675\">OAS General Assembly Resolution AG\/RES. 3029<\/strong>, which mandates the creation of a <strong data-start=\"4710\" data-end=\"4760\">Collaborative Roadmap between CEJA and the OAS<\/strong> to enhance institutional visibility and strengthen cooperation with OAS bodies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4842\" data-end=\"5071\">Additionally, it reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to promote <strong data-start=\"4922\" data-end=\"4959\">justice with a gender perspective<\/strong> and contribute to the development of <strong data-start=\"4997\" data-end=\"5031\">evidence-based public policies<\/strong> with a regional and rights-based focus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Justice Studies Center of the Americas (CEJA) met with representatives of the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM) of the Organization of American States (OAS) to define possible lines of cooperation related to access to justice with a gender perspective.
